The weather was beautiful on Saturday and we took advantage of it by going down to the Dartmouth farmer's market at Alderney Landing. As I have gotten into the habit of always taking my camera along we decided to first go to the wharf. The light was perfect, the clouds where great, so I decided to take some pictures of the Halifax skyline across the harbour.
The original picture had a lot more sky and water above and below the skyline and wasn't impressive at all. By dividing the picture into thirds horizontally and removing 2 thirds in height I ended up with a picture that looks like a panorama shot and brings the skyline closer.
